Rita was born in Burma and moved to America as a teenager. She is an engineer by day and a graduate Geotechnical Engineering student by night at George Mason University. When she is not busy with school or work, she loves gardening and traveling. Rita loves all things Christmas and has a husband named Nicholas and two dogs named Dasher and Holly. Rita started For Orphans’ Sake because she believes that no child should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. As President of For Orphans’ Sake, Rita is committed to her endeavor to help orphanages one at a time. |
Nick LiveraniSecretary / Co-Founder

Nick graduated in 2009 from George Mason University with a B.S. in Public Administration and works as a proposal manager for Verizon Business. He is originally from New York, but currently lives in Springfield, VA with his wife Rita, Founder of For Orphans’ Sake, and his two Miniature Schnauzers, Dasher and Holly. He enjoys football, cars, and being outdoors. Nick co-founded For Orphans’ Sake to not only make lives easier for the children that really need it, but also to encourage friends, family, and even strangers to be more giving in their lives. He ultimately hopes For Orphans’ Sake grows to be a large and successful organization that helps countless children, and he plans to see that through as Secretary for the foreseeable future. |
James MurrayVice President

James is an oceanographer by day and a professor of physics at Northern Virginia Community College on the weekends. James lives in Northern Virginia and is a single dad of 2. His adult daughter is a missionary for the Catholic Church and his teenage son is in high school and plays multiple sports. In his spare time he likes to learn about something called the “internet”. He is a tweeter, but that just refers to his amazing ability to bird-call. That said; For Orphans’ Sake is a passion he takes seriously. He believes this organization will do some real good in the world, not just put a band-aid on a problem. The ability to actually help real people in need is amazing and he is proud to be a part of this important work as Vice President of For Orphans’ Sake. |

Ben is a graduate of American University, where he received a Master's degree in public policy. He currently works for the U.S. Department of Treasury as a policy analyst. He enjoys being outdoors, Mediterranean food, and spending time with his friends and family. Ben joined For Orphans’ Sake to apply his knowledge and experience toward something tangible that will improve the lives of many children. As Treasurer of For Orphans’ Sake, he’s determined to contribute to the success of For Orphans’ Sake’s charitable mission. |

Mike studied math and computer science at George Mason University, which is where he met Rita. He works as a software developer and spends his free time composing music and playing sports. He wanted to use his skills for a good cause, so he created this website and the organization’s social network pages. He hopes to help For Orphans' Sake reach the eyes and hearts of everyone. |
